* ASoC: ux500: Remove some leftover from the "Replace GPLv2 ↵Christophe JAILLET2022-06-061-2/+0

* ASoC: ux500: mop500: Check before clk_put() not neededYihao Han2022-05-171-6/+3
| | | | | | | | | clk_put() already checks the clk ptr using !clk and IS_ERR() so there is no need to check it again before calling it. Signed-off-by: Yihao Han <hanyihao@vivo.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20220517033050.5191-1-hanyihao@vivo.com Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* ASoC: ux500: mop500: Constify static snd_soc_opsRikard Falkeborn2021-09-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The struct mop500_ab8500_ops is only assigned to the ops field in the snd_soc_dai_link struct which is a pointer to const struct snd_soc_ops. Make it const to allow the compiler to put it in read-only memory. * ASoC: mop500_ab8500: Use card DAPM context to access widgetsLars-Peter Clausen2015-04-121-18/+18
| | | | | | | | | | | The dapm field of the snd_soc_codec struct will eventually be removed (replaced with the DAPM context from the component embedded inside the CODEC). Replace its usage with the card's DAPM context. The idea is that DAPM is hierarchical and with the card at the root it is possible to access widgets from other contexts through the card context. * ASoC: mop500_ab8500: Use snd_soc_runtime_set_dai_fmt()Lars-Peter Clausen2015-01-071-14/+2

* ASoC: mop500_ab8500: Replace instances of rtd->codec->card with rtd->cardLars-Peter Clausen2014-05-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | No need to go via the CODEC to get a pointer to the card. This will help to eventually remove the card field from the snd_soc_codec struct. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@linaro.org>
* ASoC: ux500: Ensure consistent configuration between DAIsFabio Baltieri2013-05-281-0/+35
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Current implementation of mop500_ab8500 allows for inconsistent sample rate and channel count configuration between the playback and recording interfaces, through in the hardware the two MSP controllers share common clock and frame sync signals. This patch adds the necessary code to ensure that the two device are configure consistently. The check is added at machine driver level, as how to lock DAI configuration depend of the actual hardware implementation. | | | | | | | | | The mop500_ab8500_startup(), the mop500_ab8500_shutdown() and the mop500_ab8500_hw_params() function are not used outside of mop500_ab8500, so make them static. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
* ASoC: ux500: drop clock gating widgets from machine driverFabio Baltieri2013-05-121-10/+0
| | | | | | | | | Drop ab8500 clock gating widgets from mop500_ab8500_ctrls, as these bits are already controlled by ab8500 codec driver and should not be exposed to the user. Signed-off-by: Fabio Baltieri <fabio.baltieri@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@opensource.wolfsonmicro.com>
* ASoC: ux500: register controls to card instead of codecFabio Baltieri2013-05-121-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | Update mop500_ab8500_machine_init to register mop500_ab8500_ctrls as card control instead of codec control, as it only contains SOC_DAPM_PIN_SWITCH definitions. * ARM: ux500: get rid of <mach/[hardware|db8500-regs].h>Linus Walleij2013-04-081-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This removes <mach/hardware.h> and <mach/db8500-regs.h> from the Ux500, merging them into the local include "db8500-regs.h" in mach-ux500. There is some impact outside the ux500 machine, but most of it is dealt with in earlier patches. Contains portions of a clean-up patch from Arnd Bergmann.
