* microblaze/PCI: Remove unused PCI bus scan if configured as a hostThippeswamy Havalige2022-11-251-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This routine is meant to be used early during boot, when the PCI bus numbers have not yet been assigned, and you need to issue PCI config cycles to an OF device. It could also be used to "fix" RTAS config cycles if you want to set pci_assign_all_buses to 1 and still use RTAS for PCI config cycles. * microblaze/PCI: remove unused pci_flagsBjorn Helgaas2012-02-231-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | pci_flags is initialized to zero and never modified (I think this was just copied from powerpc). Therefore, "(pci_flags & XX)" is always false and "!(pci_flags & XX)" is always true, and we can remove all references to pci_flags. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | All archs do more or less the same thing now, move it into a single generic place. * | microblaze/pci: Remove powermac originated cruftBenjamin Herrenschmidt2011-06-081-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The whole business with re-assigning all bus numbers, creating an OF bus "map" etc... is ancient powermac stuff that you really don't care about on microblaze. Similarly pci_device_from_OF_node() is unused and by getting rid of it we can get rid of a whole lot of code otherwise unused on this architecture Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org> Acked-by: Grant Likely <grant.likely@secretlab.ca> Acked-by: Michal Simek <monstr@monstr.eu>
* | pci/of: Match PCI devices to OF nodes dynamicallyBenjamin Herrenschmidt2011-06-081-7/+7
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | powerpc has two different ways of matching PCI devices to their corresponding OF node (if any) for historical reasons. The ppc64 one does a scan looking for matching bus/dev/fn, while the ppc32 one does a scan looking only for matching dev/fn on each level in order to be agnostic to busses being renumbered (which Linux does on some platforms). This removes both and instead moves the matching code to the PCI core itself. It's the most logical place to do it: when a pci_dev is created, we know the parent and thus can do a single level scan for the matching device_node (if any). The benefit is that all archs now get the matching for free. There's one hook the arch might want to provide to match a PHB bus to its device node. A default weak implementation is provided that looks for the parent device device node, but it's not entirely reliable on powerpc for various reasons so powerpc provides its own. * of/pci: move of_irq_map_pci() into generic codeSebastian Andrzej Siewior2011-02-041-0/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | There is a tiny difference between PPC32 and PPC64. Microblaze uses the PPC32 variant. * of/address: merge of_address_to_resource()Grant Likely2010-07-051-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Merge common code between PowerPC and Microblaze. This patch also moves the prototype of pci_address_to_pio() out of pci-bridge.h and into prom.h because the only user of pci_address_to_pio() is of_address_to_resource().
