* move asm/unaligned.h to linux/unaligned.hAl Viro8 days1-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | asm/unaligned.h is always an include of asm-generic/unaligned.h; might as well move that thing to linux/unaligned.h and include that - there's nothing arch-specific in that header. auto-generated by the following: for i in `git grep -l -w asm/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done for i in `git grep -l -w asm-generic/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm-generic\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done git mv include/asm-generic/unaligned.h include/linux/unaligned.h git mv tools/include/asm-generic/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h sed -i -e "/unaligned.h/d" include/asm-generic/Kbuild sed -i -e "s/__ASM_GENERIC/__LINUX/" include/linux/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h
* platform/surface: aggregator: Add target and source IDs to command trace eventsMaximilian Luz2023-02-021-6/+67
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add command source and target IDs to trace events. Tracing support for the Surface Aggregator driver was originally implemented at a time when only two peers were known: Host and SAM. We now know that there are at least five, with three actively being used (Host, SAM, KIP; four with Debug if you want to count manually enabling that interface). So it makes sense to also explicitly name the peers involved when tracing. * platform/surface: aggregator: Reserve more event- and target-categoriesMaximilian Luz2022-06-221-35/+45
| | | | | | | | | | | | With the introduction of the Surface Laptop Studio, more event- and target categories have been added. Therefore, increase the number of reserved events and extend the enum of know target categories to accommodate this. * platform/surface: aggregator: Add error injection capabilitiesMaximilian Luz2021-01-071-0/+31
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This commit adds error injection hooks to the Surface Serial Hub communication protocol implementation, to: - simulate simple serial transmission errors, - drop packets, requests, and responses, simulating communication failures and potentially trigger retransmission timeouts, as well as - inject invalid data into submitted and received packets. Together with the trace points introduced in the previous commit, these facilities are intended to aid in testing, validation, and debugging of the Surface Aggregator communication layer. * platform/surface: aggregator: Add trace pointsMaximilian Luz2021-01-071-0/+601
Add trace points to the Surface Aggregator subsystem core. These trace points can be used to track packets, requests, and allocations. They are further intended for debugging and testing/validation, specifically in combination with the error injection capabilities introduced in the subsequent commit.
