* reset: ath79: remove unneeded call to platform_set_drvdata()Andrei Coardos2023-08-081-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | This function call was found to be unnecessary as there is no equivalent platform_get_drvdata() call to access the private data of the driver. Also, the private data is defined in this driver, so there is no risk of it being accessed outside of this driver file. * reset: ath79: Use devm_platform_ioremap_resource()Ye Xingchen2023-05-081-3/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Convert platform_get_resource(), devm_ioremap_resource() to a single call to Use devm_platform_ioremap_resource(), as this is exactly what this function does. * headers: separate linux/mod_devicetable.h from linux/platform_device.hRandy Dunlap2018-07-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | At over 4000 #includes, <linux/platform_device.h> is the 9th most #included header file in the Linux kernel. It does not need <linux/mod_devicetable.h>, so drop that header and explicitly add <linux/mod_devicetable.h> to source files that need it. 4146 #include <linux/platform_device.h> After this patch, there are 225 files that use <linux/mod_devicetable.h>, for a reduction of around 3900 times that <linux/mod_devicetable.h> does not have to be read & parsed. 225 #include <linux/mod_devicetable.h> This patch was build-tested on 20 different arch-es. It also makes these drivers SubmitChecklist#1 compliant. * reset: ath79: make it explicitly non-modularPaul Gortmaker2017-03-081-19/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The Kconfig currently controlling compilation of this code is: drivers/reset/Kconfig:config RESET_ATH79 drivers/reset/Kconfig: bool "AR71xx Reset Driver" if COMPILE_TEST ...meaning that it currently is not being built as a module by anyone. Lets remove the modular code that is essentially orphaned, so that when reading the driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only. We explicitly disallow a driver unbind, since that doesn't have a sensible use case anyway, and it allows us to drop the ".remove" code for non-modular drivers. Since module_platform_driver() uses the same init level priority as builtin_platform_driver() the init ordering remains unchanged with this commit. Also note that MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE is a no-op for non-modular code. We also delete the MODULE_LICENSE tag etc. since all that information was (or is now) contained at the top of the file in the comments.
