* efs: convert to new timestamp accessorsJeff Layton2023-10-181-3/+2
| | | | | | | | Convert to using the new inode timestamp accessor functions. Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@kernel.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20231004185347.80880-29-jlayton@kernel.org Signed-off-by: Christian Brauner <brauner@kernel.org>
* efs: convert to ctime accessor functionsJeff Layton2023-07-131-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | In later patches, we're going to change how the inode's ctime field is used. Switch to using accessor functions instead of raw accesses of inode->i_ctime. * fs: Convert block_read_full_page() to block_read_full_folio()Matthew Wilcox (Oracle)2022-05-091-3/+5
| | | | | | | | | This function is NOT converted to handle large folios, so include an assert that the filesystem isn't passing one in. Otherwise, use the folio functions instead of the page functions, where they exist. Convert all filesystems which use block_read_full_page(). * treewide: Add SPDX license identifier for more missed filesThomas Gleixner2019-05-211-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add SPDX license identifiers to all files which: - Have no license information of any form - Have MODULE_LICENCE("GPL*") inside which was used in the initial scan/conversion to ignore the file These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* don't put symlink bodies in pagecache into highmemAl Viro2015-12-081-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | kmap() in page_follow_link_light() needed to go - allowing to hold an arbitrary number of kmaps for long is a great way to deadlocking the system. new helper (inode_nohighmem(inode)) needs to be used for pagecache symlinks inodes; done for all in-tree cases. page_follow_link_light() instrumented to yell about anything missed. * fs/efs: convert printk(KERN_DEBUG to pr_debugFabian Frederick2014-06-041-12/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | All KERN_DEBUG callsites being under #ifdef DEBUG we can safely convert everything to pr_debug without changing current behaviour. Remove #ifdef DEBUG around pr_debugs only (suggested by Joe Perches) Signed-off-by: Fabian Frederick <fabf@skynet.be> Cc: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

* fs/efs: convert printk to pr_foo()Fabian Frederick2014-06-041-10/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | Convert all except KERN_DEBUG (pr_debug doesn't work the same as printk(KERN_DEBUG and requires special check) Signed-off-by: Fabian Frederick <fabf@skynet.be> Cc: Joe Perches <joe@perches.com> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

* block: remove per-queue pluggingJens Axboe2011-03-101-1/+0
| | | | | | | | Code has been converted over to the new explicit on-stack plugging, and delay users have been converted to use the new API for that. So lets kill off the old plugging along with aops->sync_page(). Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <jaxboe@fusionio.com>

* efs: move headers out of include/linux/Christoph Hellwig2008-02-231-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Merge include/linux/efs_fs{_i,_dir}.h into fs/efs/efs.h. efs_vh.h remains there because this is the IRIX volume header and shouldn't really be handled by efs but by the partitioning code. efs_sb.h remains there for now because it's exported to userspace. Of course this wrong and aboot should have a copy of it's own, but I'll leave that to a separate patch to avoid any contention. * iget: stop EFS from using iget() and read_inode()David Howells2008-02-071-8/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Stop the EFS filesystem from using iget() and read_inode(). Replace efs_read_inode() with efs_iget(), and call that instead of iget(). efs_iget() then uses iget_locked() directly and returns a proper error code instead of an inode in the event of an error. efs_fill_super() returns any error incurred when getting the root inode instead of EACCES. * Linux-2.6.12-rc2v2.6.12-rc2Linus Torvalds2005-04-161-0/+305
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
