* aopen/dxplplusu: Support SMM_ASEG and SMM_TSEGKyösti Mälkki2022-11-281-16/+67
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Both SMM_ASEG and SMM_TSEG choices work. There is periodic TCO timeout occurring. At least with DEBUG_SMI kernel reports low memory corruption. * Revert "mb/aopen/dxplplusu: Remove board"Kyösti Mälkki2022-11-091-0/+53
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This reverts commit eb76a455cd39ec59b7f2ba28baeec9538befd59e and applies minor fixes to make it build again. PARALLEL_MP was working prior to board removal and no relevant SMI handlers were implemented. So NO_SMM choice is now selected. * lib/cbmem_top: Add a common cbmem_top implementationArthur Heymans2019-11-011-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds a common cbmem_top implementation to all coreboot target. In romstage a static variable will be used to cache the result of cbmem_top_romstage. In ramstage if CONFIG_RAMSTAGE_CBMEM_TOP_ARG is set a global variable needs to be populated by the stage entry with the value passed via the calling arguments. if CONFIG_RAMSTAGE_CBMEM_TOP_ARG is not set the same implementation as will be used as in romstage. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | With VBOOT=y && VBOOT_MEASURED_BOOT=y message digest will be allocated from the stack and 1 KiB reserve used with the recent platforms was no longer sufficient. The comment of LZMA scratchpad consuming stack was obsolete for postcar, so these can be reduced to same 4 KiB. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Collected timestamps indicate LZMA decompression of ramstage is 4x slower when ROM is marked WP-cacheable, in contrast to having ROM as US. A simple copy WP->WB with uncompressed ramstage also appeared to be twice as slow as UC->WB copy. It should be noted that if POSTCAR_STAGE was removed from build, un-lzma takes 130 seconds instead of 45 milliseconds. * aopen/dxplplusu intel/e7505: Move to EARLY_CBMEM_INITKyösti Mälkki2018-06-021-0/+66
With implementation of LATE_CBMEM_INIT, top-of-low-memory TOLM was adjusted late in ramstage. We do not allow that with EARLY_CBMEM_INIT so the previous maximum of 1024 MiB of MMIO space is now used with statically set TOLM. Also remove support code for the obsolete LATE_CBMEM_INIT this northbridge used.
